Management of the Special Advisers and providing support for day-to-day coordination of the Gavi Implementing Country Board Constituency and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) (60%):• Ensuring the effective functioning of Special Advisers to the implementing country constituency and CSOs whose role is to directly support their constituency representatives and engagement in Gavi’s governance processes;
• Managing the process of recruitment, onboarding and performance appraisal of the Special Advisers to the implementing countries and CSOs constituencies;
• Ensuring the Special Advisers accountability for their deliverables as defined in their terms of reference;
• Managing preparatory meetings for the Special Advisers in advance of governance meetings including pre-PPC briefings;
• Organising and leading monthly meetings (virtual) with the Special Advisers;
• Managing and operationalising the Implementing Country Caucus;
• Supporting the implementing country nomination and appointment processes for seats on the Gavi Board and Board Committees;
• Providing talking points for the Board Chair in preparation for meetings with the Implementing Country representatives. Ensuring effective coordination and collaboration with the Gavi Secretariat, and in particular with the Country Support &
Delivery Team and the Public Policy and Engagement Team.
Provide support for day-to-day governance management of Gavi Board Committees (10%):• Drafting minutes;
• Coordinating review process;
• Any other designated assignments.
Managing the Gavi Board Alumni Network (10%):• Ensuring the effective functioning of the Board Alumni Network; including:
o Co-ordinating the Alumni Network sessions with internal and external stakeholders;
o Managing and maintaining alumni mailing lists and database.
Lead special projects and assignments as assigned by the Director, Governance (20%):
• Support the Director in the design and delivery of strategic governance projects;
• Draft documents and correspondence for the Director of Governance;
• Work independently to research and analyse topics relevant to governance processes;
• Take on benchmarking assignments with comparator organisations.
